LASH EXTENSIONS

  • Clean your lashes daily with a cleanser as an additional step to makeup removal.

Brush your lashes with a lash brush. Do not pick or pull your lashes.

Avoid direct heat. Your lashes can singe or melt when exposed to direct heat. Some common heat sources can be from a stove or hairdryer.

Sleep facing up. Sleeping on your lashes can cause your lashes to deform.

  • Yes. Your lashes can get wet immediately after your appointment.

  • A lash extension fill is a service provided to freshen up your lash set every 2-3 weeks. Your lash technician’s goal for every fill is to get your outgrown lash set to look fresh and full like a new set again.

We recommend getting a fill if you are interested in maintaining your lash set.

  • You do not have to get a fill if you are not interested in maintaining your lash set.

Without fills our sets usually last 6-8 weeks before falling off naturally.

  • As your natural eyelashes grow out, the lash extension that is attached to your natural lash gets further away from your eyelids.

During a fill, your lash technician will remove these outgrown lash extensions and replace it with new lash extensions closer to your eyelid.

Everyone’s eyelashes grow at different paces and 2-3 weeks is usually when about half of the extensions in a set becomes outgrown for most people.

  • After 4 weeks, most or all of the lash extensions in your set will be outgrown and will need to be replaced.

For an outgrown set like this, your lash technician will apply new extensions after removing all of your outgrown lash extensions. These are services that we provide called a set and removal.

  • Yes and no. A lash extension gets attached to each eyelash that is ready for an extension.

Your eyelashes grow out in three phases and not every one of your eyelashes will be able to handle an extension. Prematurely attaching an extension to a natural eyelash that is not ready will harm its growth.

Your lash technician is trained to prioritize the health of your natural eyelash and will not attach an extension to eyelashes that are not ready for an extension.

  • There are three primary types of lash sets. The classic, hybrid, and volume set. You can think of it as full, fuller, and fullest.

Classic Set — A lash extension is attached to each natural eyelash to create a natural looking enhancement to your eyes. Perfect for you if you love a natural look.

Hybrid Set — An in-between of a Classic and Volume set. Perfect for you if you love fluffy lashes but don’t want them too bold.

Volume Set — A few thin lash extensions are attached to each natural lash. Perfect for you if you love a full, bold, and fluffy look.

  • A Natural set is a perfect introductory set for those who want to give lash extensions a try.

The lashes and techniques that your technician use for a Natural and Classic set are the same. The difference is the amount of eyelashes that get an extension for a Natural set is about half of a Classic set.

  • A Wet Set is a textured set that is in between a Classic and a Hybrid in terms of fullness.

A Wet Set creates an airy and textured appearance, similar to how lashes look after a wash.

  • A foreign fill is a fill for when your previous lash service was not done at My Beloved Lash.

  • Yes. As a returning client, you can rebook fills regularly and without a deposit.

APPOINTMENTS

  • Here is how you can get the most out of each appointment.

Do not consume caffeine or stimulants prior to your appointment. Fluttering eyes are very difficult to work with and will slow down your technician.

Come on time. Your appointment time is reserved just for you, however appointments cannot be extended for late arrivals.
